At St Breward Primary School, we have a highly dedicated SEND team with up to date training within a range of specialisms.
Mrs S Burke, SENDCo, is available on Tuesdays to support your child within school, liaise with outside professionals, provide support and advice for yourselves and run interventions across the school.
Please follow these links for further information about St Breward SEND and also our Local Offer.
We have recently become a T.I.S (Trauma Informed School). A Trauma informed School is one that is able to support children and teenagers who suffer with trauma or mental health problems and whose troubled behaviour acts as a barrier to learning.
This means we are able to offer emotional and well being support to all pupils under a opt out format. All our staff are trained to provide emotional support to pupils as and when they need it. This may be through talking or through play/games. To find out more please visit our TIS page or contact either a member of staff.
If you would like to meet to discuss any concerns you may have or enquire about your child’s provision/progress, please do not hesitate to telephone the office to make an appointment. Alternatively, you can email Mrs Burke on senco@st-breward.cornwall.sch.uk . Please note this account is checked first thing every morning and should only be used as a means to contact Mrs Burke about non-urgent matters.
If your concern is urgent, please ring the office and your message will be passed on to Mrs Burke or the relevant member of staff.
